What to bring and wear

Every Customer must obtain at least a 24 hour Fishing License. Much of the Michigan Fishing License Fees help pay for our wonderful Lake Michigan Fishery!

Although the boat has an enclosed helm that is heated or air conditioned, it is imperative to wear the right clothing if you want to get in on the action. Please remember it is always cooler on the Big Lake! (Please ask the Captain what to plan for weather wise) 

    - Layers are a must!

    - Soft soled shoes

    - Jacket or Sweatshirt depending on conditions

    - Nice Rain Jacket

    - Polarized Sunglasses truly enhances your experience 

    - Baseball hat or Warmer hat on cooler days 

    - Sunscreen

    - Coffee and/or Morning Drinks (Please No Glass Bottles) 

    - Small cooler (There is a drink fridge located on back of vessel)

    - Breakfast Items and Snacks

At Sorry Kids Charters we plan to catch a lot of fish. We will fillet and bag these fish for you. Although we supply the ice to keep the fish cool while out fishing. It is up to you to get the fish home properly. Please bring at least one full sized cooler if not two! Sometimes it is flat out amazing, so please ask the Captain for a report to get a better understanding of what you need.

We are certainly blessed to live in an area that offers Catch and Cook. This program allows restaurants to cook your fish same day for you! Talk about Fresh!
